Well, winter came and went, things changed and then reset, people came and left and came back for more. Work has been great and small, exactly where I want it to be.
In the midst of spring now, and although there are no leaves on the trees yet, I feel like the bear emerging from his winter cave. I love Winnipeg but my gosh, its hard on all 4 aspects of being.
Time to shake things up. I applied for an AdSense account. If I’m approved, I will being my first official attempt at getting money from having ads on my site. I suppose I should consider what this blog is going to be, so as to get some traffic. Up till now its been my play ground and graffiti wall.
Instead I should focus the intent, start building a knowledge base. But what kind? Do I keep it personal and subjective and obscure? Do I turn it into a platform for my work? Or should I just regurgitate current news and gossip to try and get lucky on simple foot traffic?
We shall see. For now, it is my blog, and my resume, and my portfolio. It is also my scrap pad and trash can.
