If you are a wordpress developer, meaning you use WordPress as a framework for the websites you build, you might want to take a look at the plugin WP Developer Assistant

This sweet plugin adds a new top level menu item to your Admin interface which gives you access to information and tools such as direct access to all curect Actions and Hooks, all current Variables and Defines in use, and (especially handy)  an upload tool which allows you to upload Media, Plugins, and Themes to respective folders, or to a folder of your choice.

If you aren’t too timid, give it a go. I recommend it. You can tell them that I sent you.

.DAA file conversion for Mac OS X

If you’re like me and sometimes require dipping into the fetid whorls that are the Windows Desktop Experience, you may come across files that are of the file format ‘.daa’. The problem with these files is that this is a proprietary disk image format for PowerISO. Toast nor any other mac product at this time recognizes that format.

Well after searching for some time, hearing left and right how I would have to go back to a Windows box and convert them to something more universally useable, I stumbled across aptly named gem:

DAA Converter for OS X

from Twilight Edge Software. Check it. It’ll do ya good.
