Ok, that’s it. New design coming up.

I enjoy using the K2 framework. They’ve gone to great lengths to provide a stable, extensible, flexible, modern, and juicy-featured theme for WordPress. I’ve used it now for about 2 years, if it’s various forms.

Currently it sits at version 1.0-RC6rev703, if you go by the nightlies. They’ve added a really slick sidebar manager, which was originally my reason for settling with this theme. It is the most flexible thing I’ve found to date.

I updated my Resume today

I finally got around to updating my resume today. I used LinkedIn to help me generate a PDF version, which you can download by clicking on the link in my right sidebar. I really need to get on the hResume XML Microformat based version so my resume is portable to various device formats, or maybe someone whose worked with hResume before could help me out. Time is always of the essence.

The weather is fantastic today; 21 degrees, sunny with big puffy clouds. I’ll go outside and take some lovely photos. Like these ones.

A very successful crash landing

This is neat, a video of a plane whose landing gear didn’t fully extend. Amazing work on the part of the pilots, you have to hand it to them for keeping it together till the end.

Winter on the horizon

Well, snow is on the ground, my breath mists up, and I am wearing a scarf when I go outside. Winter has begun to creep into the region (and by creep I mean one day it’s +10 the next it’s -5).

This season there happens to be an uncanny abundance of change going on. I am taking on the role of single parent, starting a brand new job, and getting a Wii! I hope I have time to do all three and still get enough sleep.

I have to master a new routine. That being of getting up at 5:30 am, getting the kids to daycare w/ lunches, hitting the Gym, going to work, coming back and grabbing the kids from day care, making supper, pre-planning the following days lunches, clean and organize the house daily, AND still try and manage to talk with friends and play with the kids and partake in my hobbies.

Quite a challenge for a slacker like myself, I’m hoping this does the trick for my stagnated life. Well, not stagnate, just anemic, maybe…

I still think all the Sean Yeomans-es should unite into a super group…

If you enter my name into Google, this website is #1.

I don’t know why. I don’t splash my name everywhere [ed.: ok, I do now, or try to at least], and I’ve not had alot of online attention in the past couple of years. I might be lucky if I get to use my real name on some of my client websites, but I generally amn’t. I don’t ever use my real name when I sign up for things online unless there’s no other choice. Devolution hurts

Today I moved a clients’ website to their new webhost.

A good explanation of Web 2.0

Zelda makes alot of noise

So the week is ended, it’s Saturday night and I fee alright, if a little pissy. We need a bigger place. The kids drive everyone and each other nuts, I need a place to think without having to leave the home…

This will all come to a pass soon, since the building we’re in is being sold and everyone is going to be kicked out. So much for caretaking, I have nejoyed the no-rent thing… Ah well.

The night holds promise. We’ve put out the call to have people over, hopefully some will come.

The business plans are coming along (none of you would know what I mean, assume they are fantastic). <removed due to pettiness> is totally on the bandwagon, and has already registered the name. crazy!

This is a possible logo… if you see it again, you will know you saw it first!

In the meantime..

Alright. I’ve avoided this for a long long time.

I’m seriously attempting a blog. It is going to chronicle my progress as I claw my way out of the muck that is my life.

To know where I’m going, I need to know where I am.
To know where I am requires understanding where I was and how I got here.
I better do this before I can’t remember what the heck happened…

In the meantime..
